Overview

The Nutrition and Wellness Program, provided by the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center (AHC), offers teens comprehensive medical, nutritional, and mental health services to those young people concerned about eating disorders, obesity, overweightness, and/or problems with high cholesterol.

Within the AHC, there are a number of special programs specially targeted at teens and eating issues, including:

  • Mental health evaluation—Evaluation and ongoing mental health treatment is provided by a certified social worker, with consultation by an attending psychiatrist.
  • Weight Management Program—The AHC’s Weight Management Program provides medical and nutritional assessment for the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of pediatric and adolescent obesity/overweight and high cholesterol.
