Oral Maxillofacial Surgery

Overview

The physicians that are part of Mount Sinai’s Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Faculty Practice Associates are staff members of the Mount Sinai Hospital and faculty members of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. They provide a wide range of services for adults and children as well as special needs patients.

Our surgeons practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, providing treatment for patients with congenital, acquired, or traumatic conditions of the oral cavity, jaws, and associated maxillofacial structures. Procedures performed include basic dental surgery such as wisdom tooth extraction and dental implants and grafts, oral biopsies, as well as complex reconstructive surgery such as treatment of facial fractures, corrective jaw surgery, major facial reconstruction and bone grafting, removal of benign maxillofacial tumors, dental and craniofacial implants, and arthroscopic and open surgery of the temporomandibular joint.
