The Mount Sinai Travel Medicine Program is a designated Yellow Fever Center and offers official yellow fever vaccine certificates to both adults and children. As an academic center for travel medicine, Mount Sinai serves as a referral center for patients working for the United Nations and Doctors Without Borders.
Treatments
The Mount Sinai Travel Medicine Program is part of the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Mount Sinai offers comprehensive travel health services for individuals, families and groups:
- Pre-travel - assessment, all immunizations, health counseling and prescriptions for travel medications, including anti-malaria medications
- Post-travel care - evaluation and treatment for any travel-acquired health problem
Specialized Services
Customized services for business travelers, NGOs, and others are available. Please call us to discuss your particular travel health concerns and needs. We speak English and Spanish.
Fees
Pre-travel services are offered on a fee-for-service basis because most health insurance plans do not cover the pre-travel visit. Health insurance is accepted for post-travel services.
