Dr. Weiss joined the Department of Neurosurgery at Mount Sinai in 2005. She came from Johns Hopkins where she had finished her residency and was an Instructor of Neurosurgery. Following residency, she obtained advanced training with the spine team at Hopkins, headed by Dr. Zia Gokaslan. Dr. Weiss?? clinical interests include complex spine, primary and metastatic tumors of the spine and spinal cord and degenerative diseases of the spine.
