Prior to joining the faculty of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2006, Dr. Green was an Attending Physician on the Inpatient Diabetes Service at both the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Green cares for patients within the Diabetes Center of the Faculty Practice Associates. She also supervises the in-patient care of patients with diabetes with an emphasis on providing meticulous blood glucose control throughout each patient's hospitalization. Dr. Green has taught and lectured extensively on the importance of blood glucose control in the inpatient setting. Dr. Green's other area of interest is the treatment of osteoporosis. She co-directs the Bone Density unit and cares for patients in the faculty practice affected by osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases.
