Dr. Ali is a graduate of the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London. After 2 years of postgraduate training in the UK he moved to the US and completed Internal Medicine training at OHSU in Portland, Oregon. he then trained in Rheumatology at Yale University and is board certified in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
He was in Practice in providence Rhode Island for 9 years where he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at brown university and recieved many awards including the prestigious Beckwith Family award for outstanding teaching.
He has published many articles and book chapters and has lectured widely on Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoporosis, Gout, SLE, Osteoarthritis and the development and study of Novel Biologic therapeutics.
