Dr. Linus Chuang is the Co-Director of the Minimal Invasive Surgery and an Associate Professor of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. He received his fellowship training at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining the faculty at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2003, he was the Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Westchester Medical Center.
Dr. Chuang is well known for laparoscopic and DaVinci Robotic surgery for patients with gynecologic cancers including endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancers. He published the first report of fertility sparing robotic radical trachelectomy for women with early cervical cancers in 2008.
Dr. Chuang has been invited to lecture and perform surgeries overseas. He was the past president of the Metropolitan Gynecologic Cancer Society in New York City. Dr. Chuang was also the recipient of "Best Doctors" for the last decade.
