Dr. Ullman is Director of Neurosurgery at Elmhurst Hospital Center. Elmhurst Hospital is the primary teaching affiliate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine, located in Queens. With a strong interest in Neurotrauma, Dr. Ullman participates in the Head Injury Program, a multi-disciplinary approach to managing patients with severe acute brain injury. She is a member of the New York State Trauma Advisory Committee, part of the Department of Health, advising the Commissioner of Health on trauma issues. She is also a member of the New York City Regional Trauma Advisory Committee. Currently Dr. Ullman is serving as President of Women in Neurosurgery, a national organization of approximately 200 members. In addition to neurotrauma/neurosurgical critical care, Dr. Ullman's specialty interests include brain tumors, spinal disorders, trigeminal neuralgia, and adult hydrocephalus.
