Dr. Frieden is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, where he began his career fifteen years ago. His practice includes caring for people with arm, leg, neck and back injury and/or pain, arthritis, balance problems, stroke, and occupational strain ailments.

Areas of specialization include the treatment of people with recent amputations as well as those who already wear prostheses, the elderly, musicians, and other performing artists.

Dr. Frieden graduated from New York Medical College and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine at New York University Medical Center. He holds a faculty position as Assistant Professor in both the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Department of Community and Environmental Medicine and has published and lectured widely in his field.
