Dr. Carmel Cohen has served as President of the New York Obstetrical Society, President of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, President of the Society of Pelvic Surgeons, Founding Member and Council Member of the International Gynecologic Cancer Society. He is a member of the National Assembly and Chair of the Gynecologic Cancer Advisory Group for the American Cancer Society, is on the Board of Directors of the Eastern Division and the National Board of the American Cancer Society, and is the co-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Scientific Director of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
