Dr. Jin Chun is Director of Microsurgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Chun received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Chun did postdoctoral training in general surgery at the Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed fellowships in microsurgery at the Microsurgical Research Center in Norfolk, VA, hand/burn at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY and plastic surgery at Albany Medical Center Affiliated Hospitals, Albany, NY.

He is a teaching clinician at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he also has a busy clinical practice specializing in body contouring and breast reconstruction. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals in addition to contributing chapters in books that highlight various reconstructions in plastic surgery.

Dr. Chun has made technical innovations in lower extremity reconstruction and oncological reconstructions and has given international, national and local presentations on these techniques.
