Dr. Brian Greenwald completed his residency training in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New Jersey Medical School. He was fellowship trained in brain injury rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Greenwald is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Currently he is Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is the Medical Director of Brain Injury Rehabilitation at the Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Center in New York City and Co- Project Director of the New York Traumatic Brain Injury Model System. Currently he is involved in multiple research studies to improve the care of brain injury survivors. Dr. Greenwald is on the Board of Trustees for the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey and serves on multiple local and national committees. Dr. Greenwald was given the 2009 Physician of the Year Award by the Nurses at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
