Dr. Hagopian received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in Toxicology from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. He worked at Lilly Research Laboratories in Greenfield, IN as a Reproductive Toxicologist before returning to medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit MI. Dr. Hagopian completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Northwestern University Medical School and Prentice Women's Hospital in Chicago, IL. He trained in Gynecologic Oncology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and completed his training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Hagopian is Chief of Gynecologic Oncology at The Elmhurst Hospital Center and The Queens Hospital Center where he is active in teaching residents and medical students. He is also clinically active at Mount Sinai Hospital Affiliates in Westchester and Orange County, New York.
Dr. Hagopian is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
