Dr. Helenius joined the faculty of Mount Sinai’s Division of General Internal Medicine in 2004 after completing her fellowship in General Internal Medicine. She has an active outpatient practice at the Internal Medicine Associates on East 102nd street. (see address) In addition to clinical care, Dr. Helenius spends a significant portion of her time teaching outpatient medicine to internal medicine residents. Dr. Helenius is also the co-director of the General Medicine Fellowship and the director of the Internal Medicine Associates Gynecology Clinic.

 

Her professional interests include preventative medicine, postgraduate medical education, women's health, evidence based medicine and post-menopausal health.
