The Mount Sinai School of Medicine offers all Ph.D. and M.D./Ph.D. students who are accepted for matriculation a support package that includes a stipend ( $28,000 for the 2008 - 2009 school year), the full cost of tuition, and a comprehensive medical insurance package. A competitive Travel Fund is available for travel to scientific meetings and special courses.

Support is continued throughout the student's program as long as satisfactory progress is made. Students in the Program are encouraged to apply for appropriate individual fellowships both for the honor that such an award confers and for the opportunity to enhance their own skills in preparing an extramural application.

For Candidates in all other graduate programs, assistance in obtaining financial aid is available. Scholarships may also be available to a limited number of highly qualified candidates.
