Here at the Mount Sinai Gastrointestinal Family Practice Associates (GI-FPA), our centers and programs provide you with one-stop-shop access to physician-specialists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and nutritionists. We take a collaborative approach to your care, working across disciplines to identify and coordinate with the specialists best able to meet your specific health needs.

The Mount Sinai GI-FPA offers treatment and intervention for common digestive system conditions including:

  • Acid reflux (GERD)
  • Colitis Diverticulosis and diverticulitis
  • Hemorrhoids, polyps, and rectal bleeding
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  •  Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Stomach ulcers
  • Swallowing disorders

If hospitalization is required, our GI-FPA professionals will work closely with the Mount Sinai Hospital staff to ensure you receive the full range of specialized medical care during your hospital stay and nutritional and psychological maintenance as needed after you are discharged.
