Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

Almost anyone with heart disease can benefit from cardiac rehabilitation. Ask your doctor to be sure. Our program may be appropriate for you if you have had:

• Angina (chest pains)
• Balloon angioplasty, stent or other cardiac procedure
• A heart attack
• Bypass or valve surgery
• Heart failure
• A heart transplant

Certification

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program was certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation only one year after the Program opened. The Program was recently recertified, again meeting all the established criteria set by the organization for certification.

Insurance and Costs

Most often, our program is covered by Medicare, managed care, and most major medical policies. We will work with you to determine your level of coverage before you begin the program.

The charge for the program is $100.00/monitored exercise session. If the patient is not covered by their insurance for the program (some insurance companies and Medicare allow only certain diagnoses to be covered for cardiac rehab), then we discount the cost by 50 percent if the patient wishes to self-pay.
