Program Overview

The goal of our program is to provide a comprehensive clinical and research experience designed to prepare trainees for careers as independent academic pediatric nephrologists. This objective is achieved by combining, in sum, one year of clinical training and two to three years of laboratory and/or clinical research. Trainees are generally Board-eligible pediatricians (M.D. or M.D./Ph.D.) who have an interest in nephrology, and have met the qualifications for resident eligibility in the "Essentials of Accredited Residencies in Graduate Medical Education" in the AMA Graduate Medical Education Directory.
