Consortium educational activities provided to all house staff, regardless of home institution or specialty.

Program Overview

The Division of General Pediatrics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine offers a three-year General Academic Pediatric fellowship supported in part by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Primary Care Clinician Research Program. The fellowship is designed to provide advanced training in teaching methodology, direct patient care, mentored research projects as well as coursework leading to a MPH. The fellowship is focused on training high quality clinical investigators and educators who are committed to working in urban, underserved communities.

The fellowship is in collaboration with the Division of General Internal Medicine, and as such provides for a wide range of research interests, expertise, and mentors. With the support of faculty, fellows complete an independent health services or community-based research project. It is expected that these research efforts will be presented in peer-reviewed journals and regional/national conferences.
