The Division of Pediatric Nephrology cares for patients, ranging in age from newborns to young adults, with all types of kidney conditions, hypertension, and a range of urinary system problems. The Division is one of the few in the country to offer a comprehensive program dedicated to the care of children with kidney failure. This program provides all the modalities of dialysis for inpatients and outpatients. The program proudly provides between 15 and 20 kidney transplants each year to children from the region through the Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute (RMTI).
