The mission of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes is:

• To provide comprehensive, compassionate, team-centered, state-of-the-art clinical care for infants, children, and adolescents with diabetes and endocrine conditions.
• To provide up-to-date and comprehensive education to patients, parents, and the immediate, as well as, larger community of consumers.
• To provide educational services for the training of health care professionals in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes.
• To be at the forefront of research in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes in a multidisciplinary fashion from clinical research to basic laboratory research and in collaboration with colleagues at Mount Sinai and elsewhere in pediatric and in adult medicine.
