The fellows are given weekly formal lectures on various topics in Maternal Fetal Medicine. The organization of the lectures is based on the Guide to Learning in Maternal Fetal Medicine published by ABOG. The lectures are available to them on the MFM database. These lectures are primarily given by the MFM faculty, but are also given by faculty in related areas (OB anesthesia, neonatology, etc).

The fellows attend a variety of conferences, including daily MFM teaching rounds, weekly joint MFM/NICU conferences, monthly genetics/MFM conferences, monthly pediatric pathology conferences, grand rounds, Fetal Diagnosis conference and Journal Club.
