Rotations

The rotations provide the fellows a complete education in the field of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery while providing them with the time to design and implement relevant research projects.

Over the three years of the fellowship, each fellow will have 12 months dedicated to research. Over the other two clinical years, the fellows spend 12 months running the clinical service at Mt Sinai. This involves a very active clinic service where the fellows are responsible for primary assessment of patients as well as establishing treatment plans under the supervision of one of our faculty members. Residents and students also rotate through the service and the fellow plays a significant role in their education. While at Mt. Sinai, the fellow also participates in the practices of two busy faculty members as well.

The remaining 12 months are spent rotating through Urology, Colorectal Surgery and through two academically focused private offices focused on Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
