A rich and varied didactics program has been developed for the fellowship. Weekly lectures based on the Learning Guide to Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery published by ABOG are given and attended by both the gynecology and urology faculty. In addition, there is a weekly journal club designed to keep the fellowship on the cutting edge of our field and to teach fellows and residents how to critically evaluate journal articles.

Weekly case presentations teach the fellows to fully assess a wide variety of clinical problems and develop a well-thought out plan for clinical care.

The fellows attend a variety of weekly meetings conferences including the department grand rounds, weekly didactic rounds with the benign gynecology service, and colorectal surgery didactic lectures.
