The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science is heir to a tradition of progressive healthcare. Our mission includes delivering innovative patient care, applying scientific findings and new technology to improve the health of women, training physicians and physician-scientists, and providing community service.

The Department has extensive clinical programs that include traditional gynecology and obstetrics services as well as a diverse array of sub-specialty services that include the management of high risk pregnancies, ante partum genetic diagnoses, comprehensive family planning services, minimally invasive surgery, urogynecology, treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted infections, surgical and non-surgical management of gynecologic cancers, and advanced services in reproductive endocrinology including both female and male factor infertility.

Our mission: We strive to practice cutting edge, evidence-based medicine, while providing an educational platform for our Faculty, Fellows, House Staff, and Students in a pleasant, stimulating, open and collegial work environment. Patient oriented research across the spectrum of women's reproductive health is an integral part of the Department's mission.

The Department has a well-established, ACOG approved Residency training program and approved Fellowships in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecology Oncology, Urogynecology as well as a one year Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship.
