The Division has more than 50 faculty members, both full-time and voluntary, with a dedication to outstanding patient care, medical education, and clinical and basic research. Our combined Fellowship Training Program in Hematology/Medical Oncology has been completely overhauled during the past five years to allow our trainees to take full advantage of the wide spectrum of clinical and molecular expertise at Mount Sinai. Our new program strives to train a group of outstanding academic hematologists and oncologists who will assume positions of responsibility in other programs around the country. This training program is the centerpiece of our Division and the main conduit through which we make our contributions to the future of medcine.
