The Mount Sinai School of Medicine Consortium for Graduate Medical Education, consisting of 13 institutions located in New York and New Jersey, sponsors more than 140 residency programs in virtually every specialty of medicine, enrolling in the aggregate more than 2,000 house staff. Consortium educational activities provided to all house staff, regardless of home institution or specialty.

Program Overview

Thank you for your interest in Procedural Dermatology Fellowship Program (ACGME ID# 0813531004) at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology. To apply you must be in or have successfully completed an ACGME accredited Dermatology residency. If you are a foreign medical graduate, all certifications, visas, and entry permits
must be current and valid, for the duration of the training program, prior to final approval of any applicant. All licenses, ECFMG certification, INS visa and professional certifications are the applicant's responsibility. The Department does not operate its own J-1 or H-1 program. If selected, the fellow is required to obtain a license to practice medicine in the State of New York prior to starting their fellowship training.

Please note: This is an ACGME approved fellowship in procedural dermatology and is not associated with the MOHS College.

To apply, please submit the following documents:

  1. A completed application form
  2. A Curriculum Vitae
  3. A personal statement
  4. Three letters of recommendation (one of which must be from your residency program director)
  5. A copy of your medical school graduation certificate/diploma
  6. A copy of your ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
  7. A list of completed or submitted abstracts or publications
  8. Optional: a passport size photo. (Note: the photo is not used in the selection process)

Following a review of your application and letters of recommendation, you will be contacted if an invitation to
interview is to be extended by the Fellowship Program Director.
