The Chairman of the Department of Dermatology is Mark Lebwohl, M.D. The Vice Chairperson is Marsha Gordon, M.D., and the Program Director of the Residency program is Helen Shim, M.D..

The primary mission of the Department of Dermatology is to provide outstanding dermatological care in a cost-effective manner to all adult and pediatric patients seen in the Dermatology Clinic, the Inpatient Consult Service, and the FPA practice. The Department of Dermatology manages patients in the dermatology clinic, in the faculty practice offices, and on the Consult Service. The Department has several divisions and units, including a Clinical Trails Department, Phototherapy Unit, a Division of Dermatologic Surgery, an Inpatient Consultative Service, and a Dermatopathology Division. The Division of Dermatologic Surgery includes Drs. David Goldberg, David Kriegel, and Heidi Waldorf and is headed by Dr. Ellen Marmur. The Division offers a wide variety of dermatologic procedures, including Mohs surgery, cosmetic surgery, and laser surgery. The Division of General Dermatology includes Dr. Marsha Gordon, Vice Chairman of the Department; Dr. Michael Stotsky, FPA Medical Director; Drs. Irwin Kantor, Suhail Hadi, Jacob Levitt and Hanna Kim. Dr. Huachen Wei is head of our Dermatology Research Laboratories.
