Our full-time and voluntary faculty has led the nation in work on cosmetic procedures and dermatologic surgery.
Members of our faculty are authorities in the administration of various fillers including Restylane, Perlane, Juvaderm, Sculptra, Radiesse, Evolence, and various forms of collagen. We were among the first to use injectable botulinum toxin for wrinkles, and participated in clinical trials leading to its approval. We have expertise in hair transplantation, liposuction, sclerotherapy, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, skin surgery, birthmark removal and acne scar revision. We have state-of-the-art lasers for every kind of cosmetic laser surgery to treat red vessels, hemangiomas, port wine stains, rosacea, acne, acne scars, freckles, birthmarks, tattoo removal, surgical scars, white spots, and sun damage. Skin resurfacing using Fraxel laser surgery for acne scars, wrinkles, and sun damage is an especially popular procedure in our department.
