The mission of the Division of Social Work and Behavioral Science is to support the Department of Community and Preventive Medicine and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine through research, clinical practice, the creation of community programs and by participating and leading education programs offered by the School of Medicine. The faculty of the division includes social workers, social psychologists, health educators, sociologists and anthropologists, health economists and other behavioral and social scientists.
