The Mount Sinai community comprises approximately 500 medical and graduate students. Our campus extends from East 98th Street to East 102nd Street along Museum Mile on Manhattan's Upper East Side, directly across the street from Central Park. Mount Sinai is a short trip from all of New York's cultural and scientific offerings, outdoor activities, and beaches. The Recreation Office offers special programs, including free admission to a local health facility (92nd Street Y) and discount tickets that make New York's diversions affordable for our students.

Students in the Master of Science Program are eligible to live in Mount Sinai School of Medicine dormitory housing. Mount Sinai-owned apartments are occasionally available. There are also several unaffiliated rental apartment buildings and sublets in the vicinity of the Medical Center.
