Faculty who teach in the program come from both the Baruch and Mount Sinai campuses. Faculty expertise and research interests are as varied as the curriculum. Current research includes health services research, the utilization of management information systems to control health care costs, biomedical research and economic development, and maternal and child health outcomes. The Baruch faculty teach the basic business disciplines as well as applied courses where their research and professional activities coincide. Mount Sinai faculty teach Epidemiology, Human Resources, and Strategic Planning. In addition, they advise students on projects, and mentor and observe the capstone presentations.
