Student Organizations

We support student clubs and associations that reflect and further the interests of our students. A partial listing gives an idea of the energy and enthusiasm our students bring to a wide range of interests. The Student Council directly manages the Student Activity Fee funds. This facilitates the development and growth of these groups based on the interests of students.

Student Testimonial

“"Writing about Medicine" is a reading, writing, and discussion group that students developed together in their first year and continued throughout the four years. My interest in developing the course began in my first semester. I saw it as offering a way to integrate the creative style of thinking I had learned studying humanities as an undergraduate into my training to become a doctor. The group served both a professional and a therapeutic function.”

Student Testimonial

“There are student organizations that run the gamut of cultural, social, and professional interests. If a student identifies a need that isn’t met by existing groups, he or she will receive the support they need to start a new group.”
