Wireless access is available to students, faculty and staff of The Mount Sinai Medical Center who have wireless-ready laptops or PDAs. Users logging into the Network will have access to library resources, including e-journals, e-books, and databases.

To login, you will need a username and password. If you have an IMail account, use the same username and password. If you do not have an IMail account, contact the Help Desk, (212) 241-7091 or ext 47091, in the Media Resource Center of the Levy Library to register for access.

For assistance with problems in configuring your laptop or PDA, or registering or logging on to the campus network, contact the Help Desk at (212) 241-7091 or Med-School-Computing@mssm.edu. The Help Desk is located in the Levy Library, Annenberg Building, floor 10, room 10-83.

The Mount Sinai Medical Center is pleased to provide our patients, visitors and guest with free Wireless Internet access. "Hot spots" or wireless access points are available in most of parts of the Mount Sinai campus. This service provides the capability for patients and visitors to utilize their personal wireless enabled device(s) — laptops, PDAs, etc. to access the internet at no charge.

There is no username or password required. To access this wireless network, guests simply need to turn-on or enable the wireless card in their device and connect to the mountsinaiguest network. Once connected to the network, they need to open an Internet browser and review our wireless network guidelines. Once they click on "ACCEPT" acknowledging that they accept these conditions and agree to conform to the policies, they will be ready to browse the web and use most Internet services.
