Repair Policies
- There no labor charge for in warranty repairs on Apple equipment. However, not all parts are covered under warranty, such as parts which are physically damaged due to negligence or misuse.
- Out of warranty repairs on Macintosh equipment and HP printer repairs are offered at the following rates:
- Repairs taking less than a half-hour will be billed for the cost of parts plus a $25.00 labor charge.
- Repairs taking longer than a half-hour will be billed for the cost of parts plus a $50.00 labor charge.
- Apple Computer purchase advisement and product information is offered at no charge. In addition, you may visit the Apple educational purchase page for information on discounts available to faculty, students, and staff of Mount Sinai. Or, you may download the Collegiate Partnership Program Premier Price List or the Apple Education Individual Purchase Program Price List in pdf format. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read these files.
- Academic Computing also provides memory Consultation and installation at no charge.
